How to Make Your Car a Lead Magnet

by admin on February 11, 2013

Choosing to enhance your advertising with vehicle signage is about more than just fancy colours and designs. There are several other factors to consider which are unique to your business.

This February, SIGNARAMA is concentrating its efforts on educating businesses on the immense benefits of using vehicle graphics to promote brand recognition and save advertising dollars. However, simply making the decision to buy a vehicle wrap for the CEO’s car isn’t enough, there are two major considerations that each business must keep in mind when deciding to advertise with vehicle signage.

What Information Will You Provide?

While passengers sitting in traffic will have ample time to study your vehicle signage, it is important to recognise the limitations of information processing while driving in a motor vehicle. The most important, and prominent information should therefore be your logo and contact information (telephone number, website, email, etc.). There is plenty of opportunity to add other elements, and even words, but these all must not detract from those key elements.

What Type of Vehicle Signage that Best Fits Your Needs?

The next step is considering the best way in which to display your key information. SIGNARAMA offers several vehicle signage options that range from removable magnets to full vehicle wraps. Each option can be custom designed with your company’s graphics. Which option you choose will rely heavily upon the uses of your vehicle(s) for personal vs. business purposes as well as budget. However, it is important to remember that in terms of cost per impression, vehicle signage is one of the biggest bargains in town!

And make sure those driving the vehicles don’t drive like idiots. Nothing will go further to discredit your business than a vehicle emblazoned with your logo that is driving in a way that alienates other road users.

Hey Anthony, we totally agree with you!

Hey guys, unlike the ‘I paint’ stickers on the car in the image, do you actually paint signs on cars anymore – old school signwriting? Vehicle wraps and digital images on vinyl by signmakers have advantages, but lack the warmth, small human imperfections and creativity of some of the work that talented Aussie signwriters used to do.

Hey Lucy
I reckon you are right. Occasionally we do those hand painted styles too. They are such a classic style. Not many style guides require this style anymore. : )

There has been a re-emergence of handwritten fonts through popular branding lately too. Which we love. Have you seen the Pasta Cup branding for example?
